The students at Colorado School of Mines are among the top in the nation, and we are fortunate to have
over 200 undergraduates and nearly 40 graduate students in the Department of Mathematical and
Computer Sciences.
Our students excel in many activities outside the classroom such as athletics, music or any number of the student
organizations offered here at Mines. They may play hard, but they also work hard. Our students are active in both
undergraduate and graduate research, while still finding time to participate in various extracurricular activities
such as the M-climb (pictured at right) or E-Days.
