The Department of Mathematical and Computer Sciences is made up of faculty and staff who are committed to the development and education of the students here at the Colorado School of Mines.

Our department brings together faculty and staff from across the world, from such places as Belgium, China, England, India, Korea, Mexico, the Netherlands, Poland, Scotland, and the United States. Additionally, our department brings together students with interests in Applied Mathematics, Mathematical Physics, Computer Science and Statistics.

As the CSM core curriculum includes our Calculus sequence, our faculty and adjuncts have interfaced with every student here at Mines, to strengthen and encourage their educational pursuits.
