| Course Description: |
This course is an introduction to the concepts of
contemporary abstract algebra and applications of those concepts in
areas such as physics and chemistry. Topics include groups, subgroups,
isomorphisms andh homomorphisms, rings, integral domains and fields.
Prerequisite: MATH 213, MATH 223/224 and MATH 300.
