The Department of Mathematical and Computer Sciences (MCS) offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in the Mathematical Sciences, offering the student options in their coursework of

  • Applied Mathematics,
  • Computer Science, or
  • Statistics.
All three options offer a unique opportunity to study mathematical and computer sciences in an engineering environment. Additionally, all three tracks emphasize technical competence, problem solving, teamwork, projects, and connections to other disciplines.

Our ongoing departmental priority is the improvement of teaching and learning. The academic programs offered through our department give students the opportunity to learn in an applied environment, and to develop applications-oriented techniques to problem solving.
