"But What Can I Do
With My Degree from Mines?" - At some point in their education, everyone asks the question. Our own
Daniel Pierce answers the question, by example. The former undergraduate and current MCS graduate student,
as part of his work with CiviCore, a local company focused on
"providing software solutions for the social sector", helped to develop and implement the website,
ColoradoSchoolChoice.org.
The site provides Colorado parents with access to school-related information in order to make more
informed decisions about where they send their children to school.
Check out the application and see first hand how our majors are using their degrees and helping to make
a difference in their community and beyond.
